Frozen - The Musical Hartford Theatre reviews
Great theater experience
I took my two daughters who are avid theater goers to a Saturday matinee. I was able to find good ticket prices and although we were at the very top we could see. The staff was friendly and kind and worked to get the theater open quickly and the performance was wonderful. There were kind messages written and announced reminding audience members of some etiquette especially regarding children. Many people bring their children to the Disney performances, however they don’t realize the length of the show, attention of their child or teach them proper etiquette. The child in front of us got up and down the entire performance, moving seats and playing with her neighbor’s hair and the girl behind my daughter was kicking the chair the whole time. My 6 year old who was still and quiet and tuned into the story was having a difficult time seeing and having her chair kicked. My little one had sat through concerts from and early age and attended 3 hour long operas. We were also seated next to a 3 year old who was perfectly behaved so it’s not to say that small children cannot attend just if you are planning on bringing a child it’s your responsibility to teach them and be respectful that other people are paying sooo much money for these tickets now.
The actors were wonderful, the energy and effects were stunning and the staff had plenty of booster seats available. The line to get in moved quickly, although we were early. The only piece to bring down the experience were the poorly behaved audience members.
